Salma Hayek is speaking out about her friendship with Angelina Jolie. In an interview at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) this week, Hayek, 57, was asked what she loved most about the relationship she shares with Jolie, 48. “Everything,” Hayek — who was in attendance at TIFF for a screening of a movie she produced, El Sabor de la Navidad — told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday.

“She’s been very, very enriching in my life, in so many ways — as mothers, you know. Most of all, as artists.” The actress also told the outlet that she and Jolie have continued to get “closer and closer” over time. “And it’s just natural. It’s just something that flows,” Hayek added.

The upcoming film stars Hayek and was directed by Jolie and is based on Alessandro Barrico’s 2002 novel. Calling the Unbroken director “probably the best director I’ve ever worked with,” Hayek added to PEOPLE, “and I worked with some pretty good ones.”
